Sheriff David Clarke just released a superb book, Cop Under Fire, which takes a raw look at the work of the police and, as one of its center pieces, an honest but brutal look at Black Lives Matter. Note: The Video refers to the shooting in July 2016.
In discussing Black Lives Matter in his book, Sheriff Clarke referenced a heated debate he had with CNN’s Don Lemon the day before the Republican Convention in Cleveland. Lemon invited him on to the show but kept him waiting while guest after guest appeared before him. By the time Clarke sat down with Lemon, he was not in the best of moods. Whatever Lemon was expecting from the interview, he wasn’t expecting this.
