House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said during a press conference in Washington, D.C., that while there has not been a valid case to impeach President Donald Trump, a “very scientific, methodical way” of doing so is being made.
Pelosi admitted that they cannot just impeach Trump because they don’t like his policies. She said,
“When they break the law, that’s when you have grounds for impeachment,” said the lawmaker.
She continued, “Perhaps misrepresenting the American people could be a cause for impeachment. If so, there’s plenty of grounds right now with the current president, but it just isn’t the case. That doesn’t mean nobody is listening to cases that are being made in a very scientific, methodical way as to whether there are grounds for an impeachment.”
