A new report further solidifies accounts that first lady Melania Trump and her son, Barron, will be moving to the White House this summer to join President Donald Trump.
On Thursday, TMZ reported Melania and Barron Trump, who had stayed in New York City so that Barron could complete his current academic year in the school where he began it, would be arriving in the White House in June.

TMZ, citing unidentified sources, said the first lady and her son are “absolutely moving after the school year.”
A new school for Barron Trump has been picked, the website added, further buttressing its claims with news that the first lady’s quarters of the White House are being repainted.

Melania Trump’s decision to stay in New York City defied precedent, and spawned a spate of late January rumors that she was never going to move into the White House.
However, as reported in February by Western Journalism, that was never part of the Trump family’s plan.
“Mrs. Trump will be moving to D.C. and settling in to the White House at the end of the school year, splitting her time between New York and D.C. in the meantime,” Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, a senior adviser to the first lady, said in a statement Feb. 1.
“Mrs. Trump is honored to serve this country and is taking the role and responsibilities of first lady very seriously. It has only been a short time since the inauguration and the first lady is going to go about her role in a pragmatic and thoughtful way that is unique and authentic to her,” Wolkoff added.
